HỒ CHÍ MINH, Vietnam

Located in the hustle and bustle of central Ho Chi Minh City, 52/3 Kitchen & Bar is an ideal destination for those in need of a break after a long day.

It’s the perfect space for patrons to kick back, enjoy good food, and bespoke cocktails while perching high on barstools to crowd watch. The soulful jazz music relieves the stress, and suddenly you are transported into a world of relaxation and respite.

Despite its resemblance to a speakeasy with the main entrance tucked away in a small alley with low foot traffic, 52/3 Kitchen & Bar is well-known amongst Saigonese. Upon entry, visitors are greeted with a dark staircase illuminated by the Aeon Flex hidden in the handrail, guiding them towards the bar.

Moving onto the main establishment, we instantly see the Eclipse with its harmonious illumination and superior colour rendering at CRI90+ utilised as indirect light. The well-planned lighting makes the liquor display the main focus of 52/3’s design. Emitting a soft and warm colour temperature, the Eclipse provides well-suited illumination that adds to the enigmatic atmosphere.

The Titanium Downlight was selected for ambient lighting because of its deep-recessed design and low glare capabilities. Meanwhile, with a unique cubical design and two-direction soft light, the Tourmaline Wall Light became the focal point accentuating 52/3’s elegant and modern aesthetic.
